=^o.o^=Greetings, friend! This website is to be a Web-based adventure around Aberra, the homeworld of Macula the Evil Eye, a character you may know from his
frequent appearances on my website,
Koshka's Kingdom. It shall live on its own website separate from the Kingdom because I did not like the idea of adding too many additional HTML files for what is only a single section of the website.
While I am not yet confident enough in my writing and JavaScript skills to create this section, I have put together a short multi-page demo of what Macula's Maze will look like
that you can access here, to anyone who may be curious. Please note that the actual finished project is likely still very far down the pipeline, unless autistic inertia suddenly pushes me to speed up my pace.
PLEASE NOTE that you will need JavaScript enabled to do much of anything on this website.
Random pointless "lore" that I came up with to retroactively explain some design choices: Macula is an extradimensional being who cannot truly exist in our reality, which differs immeasurably in its laws and nature from his homeworld of Aberra. As such, he has to project a copy of himself into our realm. This copy cannot speak due to lacking a mouth (or vocal cords) and has to resort to "telepathy", which is represented by Macula only showing dialogue whenever you hover over him with your mouse on any page he appears on
Koshka's Kingdom.
When he appears in parts of Aberra (including
the Void), he is able to speak to his (nonexistent) heart's content in spite of his apparent biological limitations, with his dialogue being represented with green text, and he also appears to be in two places at the same time due to dimensional oddities.
